なお、もう一点補足しておくと、歌詞翻訳というのはいくら学術書やニュースが外国語で読めても難しく(大学院生やビジネス系の人だとこのへんだけが主な外国語との接点という人もいると思うが)、テレビドラマや映画をよく見たり大衆小説を読んでいるような人でないと無理なので、テキトーなバイトに外注すれば質の悪いものが出てくるのは目に見えている。こちらの記事を見て欲しいのだが、とくにヒップホップなどだとネイティブでもわからんようなクレバーすぎる歌詞が多くて問い合わせサイトまでできているらしい。”Real G’s move in silence like lasagna”が「本物のギャングはlasagnaのGみたいに黙って動く」(lasagna「ラザーニャ」のgは英語ではサイレントになるので発音しない)だなんて全然わからんぞ…だから、いくら安いからってあまり質の保証がないバイトとかに歌詞翻訳頼んだりしないほうがいい。
