北海道の気候はこんな風に大別される
①暖かくて雪が少ない→室蘭、苫小牧等
②暖かいけど雪が多い→札幌、小樽、留萌等
③寒いけど雪が少ない→北見、帯広等
④寒くて雪が多い→旭川、名寄等

①②③は普通に生活できるよ
④はちょっときついかも

でもってさらに上があって、
⑤物凄く寒くて物凄く雪が多い→幌加内
という究極の世界があるんだわ

④の旭川に住んでますが、この寒さ、けっこう好きです。外へ出て息を吸い込むと鼻毛が凍りついて、肌がピリっとするのもいい感じです。外で働く仕事じゃないからいえることかもしれませんが。しっかり気温が下がったときの雪はサラッとしていて軽くて、とても扱いやすいです。除雪も楽だし、服や体についても払うと落ちてくれて濡れることもありません。
