業者はスキャン代行手数料を依頼者からもらうだけで、データを違法に販売しているワケでもないですし、誰から何を盗むのか判然としません。


大沢在昌さんは、自炊代行が海賊版横行の温床になると考えているようですが、これは客観性に欠ける意見です。
海賊版業者は自分たちで紙の本を購入して、代行業者などを使わずともどんどん海賊版を作れますので。
事実、海賊版は自炊という行為が一般化するはるか以前から存在します。
アジアを中心とする海外では特に深刻です。

ならば、紙の本こそが海賊版の温床と言うべきです。
紙の本にはDRM（著作権保護機能）がついていません。
